Describe the material:Include description of contents and their intended purpose.

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is one of the busiest women in the world. She balances both family and justice of an entire nation every single day. Along with being a United States Supreme Court Justice, she is also a mother of 7, including 2 children adopted from Haiti. And she still finds time to bake their birthday cakes as a taste of mother's love. But when Justice Barrett sits in court, she serves America's call. Like all federal judges, she has sworn to, "do equal right to the poor and to the rich,” and she works to protect America’s Constitution.

If you want to teach kids about familiarity and diligence, Amy's story will do it.
Evaluate the material:What is its relationship to MCPS curriculum?

Biography, American women
Analyze the material:List material's strengths and weaknesses.

Strength - full-page color illustrations
Weakness - the publisher seems to have an agenda - publishing books about people with "American values." Weakness - glosses over a lot of her life. The book is more about a message than an informative biography.
Relative worth of the material:How does it compare (and relate) to other similar materials on the same subject?

There are no other biographies of Amy Coney Barrett in any MCPS libraries.
Amy Coney Barrett: Supreme Court Justice (ABDO) would be a better selection
